Is there an annual fee?
No - there is no annual fee associated with the card.
What are Made Points, how do I earn them, and how do I redeem them?
What they’re worth: Made Points are the rewards you earn with the Made for Home Card. Each point is worth 1¢ when redeemed toward your mortgage or home-related purchases, so the 3x, 2x and 1x points you earn equal 3%, 2% and 1% back.
How to earn Made Points:
- 3x points (3% back) on gas, EV charging, groceries and utilities
- 2x points (2% back) on home improvement, home maintenance and furniture
- 1x points (1% back) on everything else
- Mortgage Match: link your mortgage and earn 1 bonus point (1% back) for every dollar of your monthly mortgage payment, up to your total card spend that month
The 3x and 2x rates apply to the first $10,000 of spend in each category per year, then 1x.
How to redeem Made Points: Redeem in the Made app or web portal.
- Toward your mortgage (such as closing costs or a rate buydown on your next Fairway loan) or home-related purchases: 1¢ per point. 10,000 points = $100.
- Gift cards: 0.8¢ per point. 10,000 points = $80.
- Statement credit: 0.7¢ per point. 10,000 points = $70.
Points don’t expire as long as your account remains open, active and in good standing.
How do I earn points on my mortgage?
Once you have the card, all you have to do is follow the instructions to link your mortgage — it’s just a few clicks, and after that, every time you spend on your card, you’ll earn bonus points on your mortgage payment on top of all of your points for card spend.
How does this affect my mortgage?
There is no impact to your mortgage. The Made for Home Card does not directly interact with your mortgage payment. You cannot pay your mortgage with the Made for Home Card. You continue paying through your lender or servicer as always.
Can I link and earn points on multiple mortgages?
Unfortunately, at this time, each cardholder can only earn points on one mortgage.
How do I apply for the Made for Home Card?
You can apply in the Made App (available on iOS or Android).
Does applying impact my credit score?
You can check if you're pre-approved with no impact to your credit score. If you accept the offer, then like any credit card, we would pull your credit score, and there may be a small, temporary impact.
